The repair team gained access to the damaged site. The necessary new cable joints have arrived on-site and the repair team has started the preparation work for the fiber replacement. We will provide more information as it becomes available or upon a significant change in status.

Repair teams arrived on site and isolated the fault to a construction site. To isolate the physical damage, they will have to gain access to the site. Work is underway to engage the construction company to arrange access. We will provide more information as it becomes available or upon a significant change in status.

The fiber test results indicate the damaged section of cable runs along a road and railway. Therefore, a separate local fiber maintainer is required to assist with repairing the cable. Additionally, the fiber maintainer must coordinate a time with the rail engineers to access the railway safely. The approximate time for access to be granted is at 07:00 AM GMT on May 22, 2019.


Last, we've confirmed users have the ability to authenticate to a local domain controller and access local storage. This issue only impacts internet access only.

WAN Support engaged the network carrier for investigation of the 28-31 High Street Wimbledon Haygarth House, London, UK network issue. The network carrier has advised the issue may be due to a fiber fault. They are dispatching a technician to identify the location of the fault.
