Microsoft has observed continued success with recent MFA requests and are taking additional actions in the environment in an effort to prevent new instances of this problem. The scope of the incident to worldwide and impacts all applications using Multi-Factor Authentication. Microsoft is in the process of deploying the code update. For those users in the infrastructure that has received the update, they are seeing a drop in error rates and improvement in connectivity. They are monitoring the deployment to ensure the fix is effective. The scope of the incident to worldwide and impacts all applications using Multi-Factor Authentication. We will provide more information as it becomes available, but no later than 11:00 AM CST (5:00 PM UTC)

The affected users may be unable to sign in using Multi-Factor Authorization (MFA). Microsoft has as also updated the scope of the incident to worldwide and impacts all applications using Multi-Factor Authentication. We will provide more information as it becomes available, but no later than 9:00 AM CST (3:00 PM UTC).

Microsoft is continuing to analyze fresh logs as they developed the code update to resolve the issue. The affected users may be unable to sign in using Multi-Factor Authorization (MFA). Microsoft has as also updated the scope of the incident to include North America (NA). Users in the following region could be impacted by this incident: North America (NA), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) or Asia Pacific (APAC). We will provide more information as it becomes available, but no later than 7:30 AM CST (1:30 AM UTC).

Microsoft has identified an issue that is affecting Office 365. The affected users may be unable to sign in using Multi-Factor Authorization (MFA). Microsoft has advised this issue is specific to any user who is in the following regions Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) or Asia Pacific (APAC). They are currently working to resolve the issue and will provide more information as it becomes available, but no later than 6:30 AM CST (12:30 AM UTC).
