Microsoft determined that a DNS issue caused sign-in requests to fail. They have mitigated the DNS issue and are restarting backend services region by region that are responsible for processing Multi-Factor Authentication. Some regions have already been completed. They will monitor the health service within the regions where the restart has already completed. We will provide more information as it becomes available or upon a significant change in status. | |

Microsoft has identified an issue that is impacting Multi-Factor Authentication that is required by policy. Impacted customers may encounter timeout errors. Microsoft has advised this is globally impacting for customers where Multi-Factor Authentication is required. They are working to resolve the issue.
